Why is there healing?
Basically there is a need for healing and throughout cultures and history healing has been a method of love and life. Energetic healing, such as working with the etheric body is often a choice for distance healing. The ease in generating this healing depends entirely on the faith of the healer. The receptivity of the client is part of a healing process and the importance of having permission to work through and with the energy is critical. There are cases where the idea of healing, as generated by someone who could conceivably be using forces other than those acceptable to the religious right, or those who believe that fate is the most amiable of decision makers. It comes down to the process of free-will. What the client wants is what is the most important.
Trance healing, such as that attempted, and succeeded with by Edgar Cayce is rarely heard about now but is often used by those with psychic gifts who have been asked to diagnose an illness. Feeling a lump above the rib cage, feeling short of breath, a severe stitch in the heart area are often feelings generated when contact is made with the body. Once this contact is made the psychic then acts as a clinician asking various questions, this to aid in the healing diagnosis, and also to create a list to give to their Doctor. Often, as it was with Cayce, clues for healing come through the trace itself. Cayce was a great believer for example in peanut oil rubbed on to help arthritis. Several people, reading this advice, took it upon themselves to discover if it was a workable solution and for some it was.
Healing with Reiki is done by hand placement on the body, or by energy healing with the hands held above the body. Like any healing modality Reiki can work instantly, or can take four or five treatments to help resolve the problem. Whatever part of the body the hand touches, or whatever area the hands hover over the Reiki will travel to where it is needed. Guided healing is when the healer is drawn to a certain area and concentrates their effort on that area.
Crystal Reiki is a special art involving crystals that assist in healing. For example rose quartz crystal can take away negative energy; it can also help the heart and circulatory system. When Reiki energy is filtered through the pathways of the crystals you choose the results are often dramatic.
Healing energy is all around us and it is a natural tool to use to help and assist when people around us are in need of help. Reaching out to help and heal others is as natural as anything else in this world. This path of healing is a blessing to those receiving and to those who are giving.
